Picked on Purpose

Picked on Purpose

Have you ever looked at your reflection and wondered, “Why would God choose someone like me?”
You feel too broken, too messy, too unsure.
You see your flaws louder than your faith.

But here’s what I’ve learned—God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.
Throughout Scripture, He consistently used the overlooked, the unpolished, the insecure. Moses stuttered. David was young. Paul had a past. But God still called them—on purpose and for purpose.

Maybe you don’t feel ready. Maybe your story is still being redeemed.
But don’t count yourself out when God has already written you in.

1 Corinthians 1:27 reminds us, “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”

He’s not looking for perfection. He’s looking for your yes.
Your willingness to show up—even with shaky hands and an unsure heart.

So today, if you’re wrestling with doubt or insecurity, let this be your reminder:
God sees you. He chose you. And He’s equipping you for everything He’s calling you to.

You are not too late.
Not too broken.
Not too behind.

You’re just in process—and that’s exactly where He does His best work.
