The Wait Is Not a Waste.

The Wait Is Not a Waste.

Waiting seasons can feel like some of the hardest places to be.
Prayers feel unanswered. Doors stay closed. Hope starts to feel thin.

But here’s the truth: the silence doesn’t mean God has stopped moving.
He’s still writing. Still weaving. Still working all things together for good.

Scripture reminds us again and again:
Joseph sat in prison before stepping into the palace.
Hannah wept before holding Samuel in her arms.
Abraham waited decades before seeing the promise fulfilled.
Even Jesus waited thirty years before beginning His public ministry.

The wait wasn’t wasted.
It was shaping their faith.
It was strengthening their trust.
It was proof that God’s promises never expire.

Maybe right now you feel stuck in delay.
Maybe you’re questioning if God even hears you.
But don’t confuse waiting with abandonment.
God hasn’t forgotten you — He’s preparing you.

Isaiah 40:31 says, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…”
That means waiting isn’t weakness.
It’s an exchange — your weakness for His strength, your timeline for His perfect plan.

So here’s the reminder for today:
The wait is not wasted.
The pause is not punishment.
And the delay is not denial.

You are not behind.
You are being built.
And when His timing unfolds, you’ll see that the wait was worth it.
